Thank you! I gave up diet soda abruptly and feel great! I also gave up peanuts, peanut butter, alcohol and letting my job consume my soul.
I think that eating slower is a game changer. I can speak from experience that I had digestive issues, but I know a lot of them were caused from eating too fast. I probably could’ve avoided spending hundreds of dollars with functional medicine people.
Coffee makes me hungrier because I always want a cookie or piece of chocolate with it 😝
The salt section totally makes sense to me. Where I work, we sell single, big pickles. A month or so ago, I was getting hungry and thought I wanted something sweet. But instead of getting a candy bar or something like that. I got one of those pickles and was totally satiated. I don't eat one every day. But whenever I get a bit ''snacky" and lunch is a ways away. I will grab one of those pickles and it holds me for quite a while.
I feel you on the allulose! I went on a trip and was looking forward to some different meals I can't get easily here, but I was taking allulose before and during. Not only was I not as hungry but when I ate these highly sought after foods they did nothing for me! I could have been eating slop for all I could care. The idea vegetable oils...or rancid pufas in particular(?) act like cannabinoids is incredibly fascinating and would explain things. I appreciate this content. Understanding how to calm our appetites and cravings is a big deal!
this is one great thing about being in greece. olives are cheap. I just put it on my salad every day
