I had very high visceral fat levels as I was approaching my 50th birthday so I started with cutting out processed food and cooking all my meals so i knew what ingredients I was consuming, I then cut out sugar over a few weeks and joined a gym 3 times a week. After one year I lost over 2 stones ( 30 punds) and reduced my visceral fat to safe levels. Since then, I have reduced my stress and sleep better along with discovering fasting. I now am a carnovire OMAD most days and spend about 15 min a day with body weight exercise and have learned to dance twice a week. I rarely drink alcohol and think more about my health and well being than I ever did for years. This is now a way of life for me and feel stronger, leaner, and healthier than I did for 15 years prior to taking control. We all know that sugar, alcohol and processed foods are the most lucrative industries and yet they make us unwell. Most of us turn to medication later in life (pharma industry) to seek help when we suffer the consequences of ignoring the obvious. I was a guy who used to wake up hungry and go to bed hungry, eat many times throughout the day and consume a lot of sugary foods along with microwave meals and eating out with alcohol. I'm now 55 and feel 30 again so it can be done. Good luck and if you're where I used to be, I will give you this advice, stop watching youtube and procrastinating and start to do something. I'm speaking from experience. Take care and be well.
