Not when you’re doing carnivore and keto
Hello. Former fat rat here. I can attest after 4 years of intermittent fasting and 24-48 hour fasting, I've never been healthier. I lost 40 lbs and have never gained it back. I have a visible 6 pack. My T is back up. I'm not irritable. I don't sunburn like I used to. My mouth ulcers are gone. If you equate your self control to that of a lab rat, then yeah... maybe you should try something different... 😂
Never affected me like this at all. In fact I ate less, particularly over the following few days, to the point where I had to remind myself to eat. Everybody is different though which is key when it comes to a lot of things
As a 52 year old perimenopausal woman, fasting did not work for me. I was in hopes it would as it would be so easy. I eat 90% clean. Turns out I wasn't eating enough to lose weight. Perimenopause complicates everything. 😅
I did omad last week for only 3 days and lost fat. So I'm doing it again starting today
HAHAHAH really bruhhhh! I did 3 days water fast last year and i never burned body fat as quick as eating in a normal manner. Of course this is meant to be an occasional strategy when fasting, but my point is that it works! The fatter you are, the more fat your body will burn after 24 hours straight of fasting. I lifted weights in order to prevent muscle loss. Fasting is the best thing ever, it improved my focus, mental health, and helped me to shed excess weight.
My husband does 23 hour fasting and he doesn’t over eat. He has been losing 1.5-2 lbs a day
24h fasting 1 time per week is so easy compared to intermittent fasting. 2400 calories to spare each week is a lot and hard to overeat if your diet is balanced.
it would be great if we knew who paid for these studies when we hear about them.
Love this! I find the studies so interesting, and love the fact we are always finding out new things about ourselves.
