Fasting cost you nothing. Their drugs cost you billions. Makes total sense to me. Not a study but a hit piece.

Fasting is a miracle!!! Took away my pre diabetes’s my blood work was amazing all because of fasting or just eating one meal a day after 23 hours of fasting. I’m telling you! If people did this it saves animals, environment, no more drugs and your grocery bill goes down. You can afford high end foods.

Remember how your healthcare professional was not allowed to recommend increasing vitamin D levels to protect against a certain illness without risking losing their license? Yeah.. there you go

There is a certain faction of people who do not want people to be healthy. Most likely the healthcare providers.

YOU ARE A MEGALOMANIAC THOMAS! Now that I have your attention, first of all I deeply apologise for that first sentence. Second, you are a blessing to this world Thomas and I think more people (including health professionals) should follow you and have the same energy and enthusiasm you put into science. I am an Italian biologist and I was almost about to lose my faith in science (due to the rampant misinformation around), when I stumbled upon your YouTube channel a few months ago; you made me rediscover my passion for science and now I eagerly await a new video from you every day. There are so many 'nutritionists' who trash intermittent fasting, always justifying it with a 'it's no better than calorie restriction' by showing ONE STUDY (also badly done), and there are others who condemn it altogether, saying that it can lead to nutritional deficiencies or, worse, eating disorders. These people don't even bother to study the literature in a serious way or contextualise it but only use it to be right, and this is a horrible thing because then studies like this one (which you talk about in your video) come out, which are in turn used to perpetuate this vicious circle. Luckily there are also people like you, who take a critical look at science and manage to provide all points of view, so that people can mature their own ideas. Thank you Thomas

Being obese and unhealthy is very lucrative for big pharma! You are right to be angry! Thank you for helping me understand my body and my health better! Please continue to keep us informed. I have learned so much from you!

In my twenties I was diagnosed with an esophagus disease that caused troubles swallowing. They kept trying me on meds, but the meds only made me feel tired all the time. Almost 15 years I decided to just deal with it until I found intermiddant fasting and fully cured it. As well as other health improvements. My own study of it was plenty for me. Not going back.

Everytime I do a prolonged fast, it effects my body in a positive way. My last two 48 hour fasts, helped me get over a weight loss stall and now I'm losing weight again. Along with Keto, it also helped me get out of diabetic range and intermittent fasting has helped me have better digestion. So, that "study" doesn't speak for everyone 🧐

Anything that helps (keto, fasting, carnivore ...salt, fat, meat) they are going to attack and try to discredit it.

I use the studies and videos like this to give me the ideas but ultimately I test what I learned on "me". I don't really care what their meta-analysis showed. My test showed I no longer have pre-diabetes, I'm within my healthy weight window, my blood work is nearly perfect, and my entire body stopped hurting! (Unfortunately for big pharma I don't need prescriptions now) 🤔 Ultimately a study of one is all that matters!
