Just came off a 2.5 day fast and my back pain had subsided. Also allergies were a lot better, and so was my mood.

I lost 50lbs just last year cause I fasted 16:8 daily, 36 hours weekly, and 72 hours quarterly. Keep in mind I didn't lose any strength at the gym. Fasting is the real deal 💪🏽

Typically, after 24 hours of water fasting, I feel good after 24 hours. After 36 hours, I feel even better (what a relief that is). After 48 hours, I can feel the energy levels really pick up. I start to feel great, get up early, get out of bed with a spring, I want to do stuff all the time...then by 72 hours I feel like Superwoman. I can't be stopped at that point. I feel like I did at 25 years old. There is NO feeling like it. My mental health improves 5000% and I get almost a high. My abdomen at that point is flatter and harder. Must be that all the excess water has gone. I break my fast with eggs, avocado, cottage cheese, and some fatty bacon. There is nothing like the effects of a fast

I've been doing cycles of fasting. Since October I have done 42 cycles of 36 hour water fasts. I lost about 40-50 pounds and have crazy levels of energy. In the fasts I was walking 10k+ steps, sauna and swam laps on fast days. Currently doing 3 day fasts per week. The workouts on fasting days the same. However, lifting more weights on the refeed days. I'm hoping to do 14 cycles. Also, not seeing any muscle loss for those wondering.

Years ago, I did a 75 day water fast. Lost 84.6 pounds, felt amazing. The first few days were tough, by day 10 it became much easier. Day 14 and on is when I felt a big difference in the way my clothes felt. Once I got to day 50 I was really really cold at bedtime but it was worth it. I still do fasts especially intermittent ones, everyone kept telling me it wasn't safe butbI felt great.

I’m new to fasting. I’ve been doing OMAD for the past week, except on Saturday I do 16–8 and Sunday I eat freely. Currently 46 hours in on a 72 hour fast. Only consuming water, water with LMNT electrolytes, black coffee, and green tea. Gotta say, feeling amazing. Good energy, positive outlook, zero hunger pains. Fasting is definitely something I’m gonna keep going with in the future.
