you got the Drinker on? hell yes Chris
Modern movie suck so much because people like Joan Lee Stan Lee's daughter has executive power. Alice Cooper once said, “I don’t like to mix politics and rock ‘n’ roll,” adding, “When musicians are telling people who to vote for, I think that’s an abuse of power. You’re telling your fans not to think for themselves, just to think like you. Rock ‘n’ roll is about freedom — and that’s not freedom.” I wish more people was like that.
Because the passion and the art has been stripped away. Everything is just a shitty job for people now. Nobody cares anymore.
I really miss watching politically incorrect and offensive comedies in the cinema. I was a young adult when The Hangover, 40 year old Virgin, Superbad, Eurotrip, Tropic Thunder etc. came out and man, laughing with a whole room full of people on a Friday night with a nice cold beer in hand was just an unbelievable joy. I think the last comedy that I actually enjoyed at the movies was 22 Jump Street in 2014. After that? Nothing. Crazy to think that it's been over ten years of politcally correct garbage that killed all the fun.
I watched The Mummy (1999) in theaters yesterday. My biggest take away was NO license music. Just a movie score and a movie that took itself seriously. It was so nice not hearing "woah sweet child of mine" during some part of a movie about Egypt
28:50 "It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms."

The decline of cinema began when Disney devoured all the other studios and became the main source of movie entertainment.
I was 8 yrs old when I saw, You Only Live Twice and from that moment on I was in love with Sean Connery and he will always be my favorite Bond. I would love for the return of an extremely manly man Bond.
