Negative nostalgia is just PTSD I think.
Hearing Josh use the words VietCajun really put a smile on my face! I am Cajun born and raised and grew up with seafood boils my whole life, and they were good, but gotta say the Vietnamese take it to a whole other level! Went out drinking with friends and ended up crashing at my buddies house, he had made Pho and none of us white boys had ever had it, we ate the whole pot and crashed out. Woke up hungover as hell to the sound of about 40 Vietnamese of all ages cooking everything you could imagine, and a seafood boil that blew our minds, it really opened my eyes to just how small my food circle was.
I cannot believe that Josh forgot the intergalactic seafood boil day song is supposed to be sung in the rythm of Frère Jacques/Brother John and goes like this: Seafood boil, seafood boil, have some crab, have some shrimp, and a little sausage, and a little sausage, spice it up, spice it up
Was not expecting the Asian Garden Mall shoutout. Respect.
As someone born and raised in Westminster, I will never get tired of the random shout outs for little Saigon
I just love how Josh always devours the food. He enjoys it so much, stuffs his face and talks with his mouth full. He's such a gem
I've been wanting a seafood boil for weeks. I live where the wind hurts my face and don't have a restaurant near me that does them. I think this is a sign to do it myself.
"nobody knows who makes the Costco white label lager" ... as he's holding a box with a *bigass* Deschutes Brewery logo 😂
This must’ve been a great lunch day for mythical
