The concept of health in "The 23 Former Doctor Truths" book completely explains this. I wish I read it way sooner
Eat : Kimchi, avocado, eggs, butter, steaks, smoked mackerel, sardines, 100% dark chocolate, bananas, dates, berries, intermittent fasting 7pm to 2pm. Start the day with apple cider vinegar with San Pellegrino plus digestive enzymes and Creatine.
I picked up a nasty gut bug in Bali back in 1986. Had multiple courses of antibotics. Ended up with a severe candida infection in my Gut. Immune system crashed. Glandular fever and Helicobacter pylori. Blood Glucose was through the roof and became borderline Type 2 diabetic. Found a Specialist in Sydney who turned my life around. Strict diet and supplement program along with various treatments. Took refined sugar out of my diet in 1989 and started eating clean. Dont eat any gluten. Never eat junk food. Train all the time. Look after my body and it looks after me.
Since PPIs were mentioned, I want to share my experience with them. I had pretty serious GERD and heartburn issues for decades, and was told I needed surgery to prevent continued reflux aspiration during sleep. Tums were at the top of my food pyramid. Instead, I wanted to try managing it myself by some behavior and dietary modifications, like not eating after 6pm, and changing what I ate. Literally within a couple of days after eliminating sugar and processed carbohydrates, all heartburn symptoms disappeared. I went from daily Nexium, Tums and sometimes a chaser of baking soda, to nothing, zip - and have not had even one episode of heartburn for over a year. Totally convinced, now, that sugar and processed carbs, especially eaten later in the day, are the main cause of heartburn.
Processed foods generally should be avoided, but emulsifiers in particular can damage the mucosa and lining of the gut.
Allergies, antibiotics, sugar, artificial sweeteners, constant snacking, alcohol, NSAIDs, eating quickly or when stressed, eating the same things every day, PPIs.
I have great respect for Dr. Rajsree Nambudripad. I've been doing the sibo/sifo protocol for a year now, based on her videos. And I'm glad I started. Hungary, Europe.
Dr. Nambudripad is amazing! Such practical advice on her channel ❤
the little "ok!" before she launches into each section is lowkey adorable haha
very happy to see her getting recognized. she is the best doctor ever.
