I thought i was wrong once, but I was wrong - not me
The problem isn't being wrong. The problem is not being able to admit when you're wrong.
The pairing of a scientist and comedian has never been done better than these guys.
Forgive me if I´m wrong, but for a non academic, Chuck holds his own just fine in all these conversations. Not just in this video but all the ones I´ve seen. Well done to you sir!
My dad, who passed a year ago, used to joke and say.. “The last time I was wrong, is when I thought I made a mistake.” Funny how those are things we smile at. Good times.
When thinking of 'Science's Greatest Blunders', which history making mistake in your opinion led to the most progress and benefit for humanity?
There is no Startalk without Chuck. He’s a genius in his own right.
I’m gonna memorize all of this so when my wife tells me I’m wrong, I’m gonna talk for about 20 minutes straight on levels of wrong.
I just got an ad on Claude AI and the tagline was “Never be wrong again” 😂
Chuck was cooking in this one. Loved how he immediately pointed out that most people would search for a reason to dismiss what they see with their own eyes so that it doesn't destroy their belief system.
