Supreme Court REBUKED as Voters FIGHT BACK against Ruling

On this episode of Legal AF, Ray Brescia speaks to Robert M. Ceresa, an Associate Professor of Political Science and the Founding Director of the Politics Lab at the James L. Farmer House at Huston-Tillotson University, a historically black college.  Ceresa is an expert on grassroots movements and has written a powerful piece in the Texas Observer discussing the ways in which the civil rights movement of the 20th century helped bring about the Voting Rights Act, and that it’s going to take a movement to restore those rights, not just litigation through the courts. Ceresa is also an expert on the Cuban Diaspora and the author of the 2018 book published by Palgrave Macmillan: Cuban American Political Culture and Civic Organizing: Tocqueville in Miami.
