Jimmy Olsen, particularly during the Silver Age, has a long track record of getting either weird superpowers, or inexplicably out-of-league girlfriends. Who often give him weird superpowers.
We might’ve witnessed the first time that Nathan Fillion was ever confused for Pedro Pascal.
James Gunn said Eve doesn’t actually have weird toes. Jimmy just has issues 😂
Fun Fact: The news reporter during the fight with the giant "Stitch" that introduced The Justice Gang* was Christopher Reeve's son, who is an actual news anchor now. He got to attend the premier that was at the same theater his father went to for the Superman 1978 premier
I’ve heard people complaining about Superman getting his butt kicked, but technically he was getting his butt kicked by Superman.
“Like reading a comic come to life”. How did yall pick this up so easily and so many other people don’t?
A lot of reactors criticize the other prisoners in the pocket universe, but the fact Lex's ex says "You're gonna get us killed." tells me someone tried something before and everyone got punished for not speaking up about it.
I don't remember who said it first but I liked the idea that this Superman in particular is the one that The Iron Giant looked up to.
So fun fact, the guard who imprisoned Eve and called her an idiot was the same actor who played Lex in Smallville.
35:20 "What is wrong with all you people in this room?" It's called the "banality of evil" and it's one thing this movie nailed. All it really took was one really wealthy and powerful man with no conscience and everyone else can say they were "just following orders."
