At 10:10 you passed-by the winner of the 1st Berlin Marathon. Günther Hallas, red shirt 425 „Nord“. He won in 2h44‘ back in 1974. Sneakers & water only.
Congratulations, Ben! You still did amazing, I am so glad you always mention how much you can’t take running a sub 3h marathon for granted! It helps us mortals to keep on grinding! Haha! I also ran Berlin, it was my first ever marathon and I also struggled having gotten injured right in the week leading to it, but I did cross that finish line in just over 5h, so happy for that! :) Now to continue training and getting better! :)
4 minutes per km for each of 42km, it's insane as for a regular guy)
Love it Ben.. and the evidence at 12:55 that Mo from @runningchannel runs everywhere like a one man mexican wave! 🤣
Class video as ever. I'd say no on a Evo 1 review, I like reviews of shoes I might buy and there's no way in the world I'll buy that!
Great video 🎉🎉🎉 Btw. The young man in the red shirt at 10:15 is the winner of the first Berlin marathon!
why on earth have I never thought about using imodium before races... literally my last 3 races i've had to stop during the race, no matter how many times I go before-hand
You know the guy at 15:38 ? This is Simone Carniglia, 2xGuinness World Record holder as fastest T1D athlete to complete the 6 World Marathon Majors.
Yew see you at the Melbourne marathon 🤙
so true about not taking sub-3s for granted. Like all runners, one day you will run your last sub-3, and you won't even know it until maybe years later😥
