Slow runs makes u faster is actually true my slow runs was 8min per km this was my ez run when i could chat with someone and now my easy run is 7min per km 😊
I just did my first 5k and it made me feel so amazing I got 66th out of 105 and I started running at the beginning of this year to help lose weight and I'm so glad I did!
I ran a 10k personal best of 58 minutes (shaved 5minutes), following a few of your techniques. Top Man Ben! The posture tip was the best for me!
Not my knees in pain today as I see this video get posted
7:36 I'm checking my watch every 10 seconds cause I end up speeding up slightly without realizing it. Especially if the right song is playing in my headphones.
I'm 14 and have been running for a year now. I can confirm running slower makes you faster. In the beginning I ran at about 5:00/km, and my speed never increased. After I started adding slower runs in my weeks, my speed really increased, I now run 3km at about 4:10/km. (about 6:42 minutes per mile)
Let me give everyone one bit of advice: This video is great for people that want to dive into running fully and take it very seriously, but you don't have to do that! It's already awesome if you decide to get into it but only go on one run per week. I'm a very active person but I'm very busy with work so I don't get to run more than twice a week. You might think that based on this video that wouldn't be enough, but I'm seeing big improvements by just doing what I'm doing. You don't need to worry about getting fancy shoes, clothes and other equipment. Just throw on a comfortable pair of runners, a shirt and go out whenever you have time. That's all you need to do for your personal health and journey, don't put pressure on yourself and good luck!
Late 40s, key is listening to your body, no benefit in running with foot, knee, ankle pain. Physio and mobilise, rehab and rebuild.
It’s so difficult not to do too much too soon! Especially when you’re feeling good. But I’m working on being patient
I love how your really really slow is my really really fast! 😂😂 Thanks Ben!
