For me, the best part of Göteborgsvarvet is seeing all the runners in the later start lines. So many people there have never seen themselves as runners, but this year they took on a huge challenge to complete the race. It always leaves me inspired for my own training. Elite runners aside, the back of the pack is where you find some truly great personal performances
Ran my first Göteborgsvarv this weekend, great experience, crowd was fantastic. People cheering and at one point at around 15km, a random dude ran beside me and pushed me forward as I my pace was going down shouting ”it’s only 6km left!”
welcome back to Sweden and Göteborg. The race was amazing this year.
Great to have your company on the hilly part of the race, gave me some extra energy! Good luck in coming races and hope to see you in Berlin where I aim to do 2:38 and PB 💪 also thank you for putting some good energy out there for my home town!
Ran my first half Marathon yesterday, and leading up to that I watched a lot of your videos. Thank you for good content!
I ran this race for my second time now! I unfortunately kept getting annoyed at how crowded it was everywhere, I was quite a lot faster than most people in the groups around me. It's not the runners fault so I then kept getting annoyed at myself for getting annoyed at them 😅. Still did rather well though so I hope for a better starting group next year
Don't know when you had a new haircut but it really suits you.
Need an excuse to vists Sweden. Thanks for the inspiration 😂
I've run it 13 times and the thing is that the weather has been fantastic every time which is strange considering that Gothenburg is known for a lot of rain.
Did my first ever half marathon this year at Göteborgsvarvet, incredible experience!
