My common mistake is forgetting to put a beer or two in the fridge beforehand for when I get back.
Mistake 8: Not saving your banging tunes for when you need them in the last few miles! 😂
Finished my 2nd half today, shaved 10 minutes of my pb, 2:20 🫠🔥🔥🔥 thanks Ben
10k "into" the long run. 10k is my long run 😆
Zero chafing since started using half tights
Most common mistake is not being able to resist sending it on a Parkrun before the Sunday Long Run!!
Definitely a good advice on not testing new equipment on a long run. I'm preparing for a half-marathon on Sunday and bought some really nice and very short running shorts from Decathlon thinking of using them in the race. They are extremely light and comfortable to walk in, however I neglected the fact that I have really big thighs and it my legs just started chafing horribly, which never happens when I wear normal length shorts. It was just a 7km run, so nothing too problematic, but if I ran like 15-20km that would have been a disaster that I would need a few days at least to recover from.
That gel video you did is the best ever review on YT shows you nutrition facts and shows you what you get for your dollar!
Just realised how local you are to me! Really cool to see other local runners.
I hear you on winging it but I absolutely love NOT planning a 1.5-2 hour run and just go one way for half the time then get on a parallel path back home😅
