These vitamin E studies use synthetic dl-alpha tocopherol, which is toxic and not bioidentical. Vitamin E has 3 chiral centers, so about 87% of synthetic vit E has the wrong chirality. Also, natural vitamin E comprises 8 different forms, 4 tocopherols, and 4 tocotrienols. Supplementing only alpha tocopherol causes a deficiency of the other 7 forms. Dr Stanfield, you are wrong about vitamin E supplementation.

I've just started taking glycine at 35, always been active and ate well, but suffer from aches and injuries.. glycine has been a game changer, aches gone, sleep better, head alert, focused, feel like a whole new person

This is a great example of how sometimes the results of a study are surprising, and some studies on the surface even seem contradictory.

I love that you are strictly interpreting scientific study's, as more and more people (especially in US) is not believing in science anymore (as they think there's a political agenda behind). Keep up educating us both in results and how science works.

If the study said that taking Vitamin E increases mortality by 16% and the results were widely circulated, you can be sure that taking Vitamin E increases longevity.
