My son’s neurologist, who can’t explain any of his medical conditions at all, says that nutritional deficiencies “just aren’t a thing these day.” I just stared at her and didn’t say anything 😂😂😂😂😂 Edited 12/18/25 to add: I do appreciate everyone still commenting on this so far after the fact telling us to get a new doctor. It's been a year, and we obviously found a new doctor. Since that one wasn't working for us. I had updated this in the comments some months after this initial post. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
Sooooo, people in the bad old days were eating less, but having healthier diets with less food ... and today with statements that we are well fed, but overweight and having all kinds of diseases and illnesses, diabetes, obesity, ... we are eating more food with less calories and nutrition and are sicker because of it.
I have always said that weight gain was due to the fact of lack of nutrients. Body wants to keep eating until it gets what it needs. Nice to finally hear it officially.
After so many years of bad Labs at my doctors my A1c is now 5.1 * my LDL 57* THANKS Dr. Ekberg down 130 lbs

I learned as a child about crop rotation, contour farming studying about the great “Dust Bowl” of the 1930s, from the Native Americans about natural fertilizers such as burying fish under your plants, and from the Old Testament about the Fallow year, letting each acre, or seventh part of a property, rest every seven years while farming the others, plowing the plants back into the soil, anf farming the rest. God, and God’s Nature, know best.
You constantly hear about climate change and global warming but those same so called experts or alarmists never mention environmental degradation of our oceans or soils. It's about time they do and thank you Dr. Ekberg for discussing this very important topic.
