Doc, we just burried my 54 year old cousin of a stroke due to un-treated diabetes. He had the obvious signs but did nothing about it. He was to the point he couldn't feel his feet and continued to work. Everyone, PLEASE, listen to Dr Sten. Thanks for the video Doc 🙏 ❤
I cured myself of diabetes because of watching your channel. Thank you! My levels are completely normal now.
If anyone here is just starting this journey , don’t give up! I used to be 297#, about 10months ago, down to 234 today…IF/ketovore mostly…before, I could buy a claim jumper pie and eat the entire thing in an hour, I’d get those 16packs of frozen White Castle at Ralph’s and eat the entire box ..now I just don’t ever crave anything sweet-I feel sick thinking of it…sugar is literal POISON! Just heal yourself and the day will come your cravings completely disappear . God bless Dr Ekberg and everyone trying to better themselves TODAY .. all the knowledge is HERE for free!💛💛
For years, when I got my blood work done, my EAG/A1c was getting higher & higher. My dr said “it’s in the ‘normal’ range, you’re ok.” Well, last test -June,2024 I had an A1c of 5.7…, now the dr wants to put me on meds! I said no thank you. I’ll change my diet & exercise programs. She wasn’t happy. She’d already called in a prescription to the pharmacy! As of today, my A1c is at 4.5❤❤🙏🙏 Thank you Dr. E for all of your valuable information🙏🥰
I used to have the biggest sweet tooth. I loved donuts, cakes, and pastries. I had no concept of how bad they were making me feel until after cutting those items from my diet. Two years later and any time I give in to the mental craving for a sugary "treat," I literally feel so sick for at least an entire day. I must have been so used to feeling so bad all the time I hardly noticed it. Now I know how bad those poisons are for me.❤
About 12 years ago, I started to notice that whenever I went barefoot, it felt like I had a leaf or a piece of tape stuck to the soles of my feet. When looking into possible causes, I read that many people complain of symptoms of peripheral neuropathy approximately 3-5 years before they are diagnosed with diabetes. I invested in a blood glucose meter, and started regularly monitoring my blood sugar levels. I adopted dietary habits commonly recommended for diabetics, as my glucose levels seemed to lean to the high-side of the normal range. I also started strength training for good measure. My logic being that the energy requirements of more muscle mass would likely help utilize excess blood glucose, to better maintain stable levels. I regained full sensitivity im my feet within a few weeks of those minor lifestyle modifications. Today, my diet is still based largely on recommendations for diabetics and I still weight train (although more for maintenance, as opposed to gains). I spot check my blood glucose levels a few times a year but it appears to be holding steady; and I haven't experienced any symptoms pf peripheral neuropathy for more than a decade.
Thank you Dr Sten, i have been keto /low carb for 30 months after watching your videos, and it has completely😮 changed my life. This was real educational, you see our body always gives us warnings but we ignored and we pay the price. Sad 😥 😔
