I did a 5 day Sardine Fast in January to get a metabolic reset because of pain from Sciatica, Spinal Stenosis from Scolosis (65 years). I received a 70-80% reduction in pain. It also reset my glucose numbers which dropped as my pain reduced.
Now I know why there is a sardine shortage.
I ate 5 tins of sardines a day for 28 days and my wife successfully left me. I recommend.
Greetings from Serbia! I love sardines and they are important part of my diet. I was "serious" deabetic and I regulated blood sugar only by food ( hbA1c is 5.1 during 3 years...). I'd like to recomend better option for the longer period than 3-5 days -- 2-3 cans of sardines and 5-6 eggs a day ( you can add something else...) - and you'll see significant change...- I'm very fond of your work! Wish you God's eternal BEST!
I eat whole sardines from the can every other day (in their own oil or brine, and never in canola oil or any other seed oil) and have for most of my life. I've always believed it was the secret to my health compared to others.
My kids didn’t know that mac & cheese didn’t always come with sardines in it until they started going to friends houses and having mac & cheese there

I loved the 'strange cats' joke
Every once in a while I go on a fish diet for 3 days. I include Mackerel, herring and sardine to break up the monotony. This usually results in what looks like a 3 pound loss, but a couple days later it might look like just a pound or less. For me, this is not a weight loss strategy. More it is “pattern interrupt.” It always brings me back to low carb with renewed interest.
