I literally laughed out loud at the 86,000 price...
Wow this will go down in automotive history as the greatest example of ignoring your customer base.
“Due to failure in sales, the gas version will soon be released”
The price is so insane.
Just the feature I wanted on my muscle car: outdoor speakers
Suddenly new S650 Mustang prices looks cheap compare to this... And it came with a real V8...
Dodge’s first crack at a new breed of muscle car leaves us with more questions than answers despite its impressive test figures. It turns out that drama and soul might be more important than speed. Does the Charger Daytona’s sound and look still have that old-school appeal to you? Let us know in the comments below!
I had one of these pull up at a red light next to me the other day and I swear this thing teleported half a mile in blink of the eyes.
Thank you for the most comprehensive review of this car that I've seen so far. Great practical measuring of its performance in a way that makes sense from a street perspective. As to your conclusions, well - OK. I haven't had the pleasure to drive one of these yet. I have crawled all over one at the dealership, though. Color me impressed. This new Charger Daytona has a look and a presence in person that will blow people away. It's big. It's brash and yet sophisticated at the same time. It is a cruiser and a straight line howitzer from stop light to stop light. Attempting to carve corners in a 3 ton, 18 foot long car just isn't what these are about. I have to say that the development engineering utilized to produce this car - available in electric and gasoline powered versions that seat 4 comfortably and a huge hatch with space to carry everybody's stuff - and still look the way it does is one hell of a job well done! As to the price, well, welcome to 2025. People also line up to pay North of a hundred grand for giant pickup trucks the size of small buildings that never carry anything heavier than groceries. Thanks again!
Despite all of the backlash & people calling it trash. I gotta say this car is starting to grow on me ngl 😭 a crazy thing to say but that’s how I feel.
