Disclaimer: just quit my job after watching this and going to find something more aligned with my interests and have more meaning for me
I am so thankful I stopped scrolling and listened to this. As a caretaker for my Dad who's 90 years old and has dementia and prostate cancer, this was such a refreshing way to view death and life, reflecting on my own life and death too. 🙏❤🌈
Phenomenal conversation. I teared up at many moments, but especially 'I'll see you on that glitter wave'. There's so much to be grateful for in this life.
I have been considering becoming a death doula for a while now. Death doesn't scare me and it hasn't for a while now. When people pass I look at them as leveling up. I just lost my best friend on october 25 father on December 3rd and this came up the day after my dad passed. This is confirmation that being a death doula is what i am meant to do. Thank you for being a guiding light in my journey once again
“Don’t let that chocolate cake go to waste!” YES! I love her!🥰
I've been following her for many years after my dad passed away too young. What a wonderful conversation.
My mom had this conversation with me since I was 9, she passed when I was 20 .
OMG. I'm 56, too. I have been following you for starting my life over and debt recovery. Now I have a fatal diagnosis. Thank you for talking about death. Since the diganois 3 months ago, I am finally living.
"Most people believe that their grief gets smaller or disappears overtime, what really happens is that we grow around it and make space for many more emotions so it doesn't control our lives anymore."
At 67 am going through a crisis. My life has grown stagnant. I feel ive wasted most of it. Lord have mercy please.
