that's why at the end of the money so much month is left
If possible, you should do the thing where you check a receipt or online shop from like 5 years ago - two people make specific dishes, one person gets the ingredients as normal, the other has to buy ingredients with only the money needed 5 years ago
for other commenters -- these aren't just LA/Cali prices, they're west coast prices. these are only slightly above the prices here in Portland, OR, even at Albertson's. last time i got groceries, the bill was $100 ish for about 10 items.
I didn't realize how much I missed that "wicked smahrt" line 😂
I think you guys should do a budget meal series. Where You try to just make delicious, nutritious cheap meals. Whoever can make the cheaper meal wins.
these american prices have me FLOORED, not even high end grocery stores in the uk sell at these prices
What the hell is happening in California that a can of Cento tomatoes costs almost _double_ what I pay for it here in NC?!
This taught me groceries really are that much more expensive in different states 😭 that Cento crushed tomatoes can I buy for $3.39 all the time at my local store
$4.69 for basic dried basil is absolutely insane for the "cheap" price point. You can buy it for a quid here.
I’ve never been so glad to live in the Midwest. Our groceries are way more expensive than they used to be, but they’re not THAT expensive
