we could be asking deeper questions like why are they putting these chemicals on food, why is food being used as vehicles for dis-ease. and the real question why are they fighting SO hard to be allowed to poison us?

You don't need to have a PhD in food science. Common sense tells you that if you have to be chemist to understand all the things that go into your food, you probably shouldn't eat it. I love the way the late Barry Groves puts it: "Civilized man is the only animal clever enough to manufacture his own food, and the only animal stupid enough to eat it"
