r/AITA for Calling the Cops on My Ex?
Analyzing Boundary Violations, Trust Erosion, and Conflict Resolution
Discover effective responses when neighbors breach property lines or family members betray trust, and learn why escalating an issue does not always equate to being the "butthole."
Short Summary
- Towing unauthorized vehicles inside private property is a justified, immediate defense of ownership rights.
- Do not concede personal property rights, regardless of custody arrangements or pleas for neighborliness.
- Intentional infliction of harm (e.g., contaminating food with allergens) defeats any justification for prior victimhood. This analysis reviews five distinct conflict scenarios spanning property claims, roommate theft, public shaming, and deep personal betrayal within family structures.

The loyalty and dependence this fanbase has is both impressive and funny. We need these videos in our days, haha.
Peanuts story: NTA! Maybe that roommate shouldn’t steal other people’s food!!! To any food thieves, if you wanna avoid possibly getting an allergic reaction, then STOP STEALING OTHER PEOPLE’S FOOD!
Op needs to go full custody. Mom is punishing their daughter because shes his child as well.
10:00 i remember having to take off my prescription glasses to hold my niece and nephew for the first few times. Then, they learned "no touching glasses" and i could keep them on again. That is life. So, this friend needs a reality check
Story 4: when my nephew was a baby when I had braids he would always grab my hair. At my high school graduation he kept reaching for my diploma. There’s a picture of it too. That boy would even take my sibling’s glasses if given the chance. The point is babies like to grab stuff, it’s a part of how they learn what things are. She was warned several times and ignored it. That’s on her for not listening, although to be 100%, if someone can’t listen to a parent basic instructions they don’t need to be holding the baby to begin with.
Fifth Story, NTA: Peter outed OP to their family and got him disowned but after it happened to him he expects OP to be there for him? It don’t work like that, Peter burned that bridge after he outed OP. Peter is on his own
First Story, NTA: The absolute audacity of this guy to expect OP to pay that $1k when HE parked onto someone's property without their permission. All the other neighbors going against OP would have a different tone if it was them in this situation. The entitlement is insane
Story 3: I'm allergic to peanuts and other stuff. Result: I cook for my own. Stealing food with a severe allergy is just seeking the darwin award
Last story: the person who was outed has the right to decide to let the person who outed them back in or not. Hope OP preserves his peace. Also, Peter, you turned a band of face-eating leopards on your brother, then later found yourself in the same boat .... and are surprised your face got eaten too?
12:55 OP played the Rslash classic "why don't YOU do it" and obviously they didn't do it
