r/Relationships Boyfriend Helps My Stalker
Manipulative Boyfriends, Delusional Relatives, and Years of Marital Hate

Short Summary
- Address acute safety risks arising from stalking and severe breaches of trust in relationships.
- Analyze manipulative behavior where a partner derives satisfaction from orchestrating emotional suffering.
- Identify situations where family delusions require immediate legal action rather than simple ignoring.
- Learn why staying in an unhappy marriage, even for children, often causes them greater harm.
This segment analyzes three alarming relationship scenarios shared on Reddit. The first details a woman realizing her current boyfriend actively encouraged and manipulated her obsessive ex. The second covers a wife dealing with a cousin who is deluded about being married to her husband. Finally, a husband confronts years of trapped resentment ignited by a trivial argument.

When Rslash were laughing at the first story i was like "oh you sweet summerchild" knowing the update
The first story has a final update! OP was able to use a mutual friend to pass a message to the stalker ex about Cole. Stalker ex admitted to being uncomfortable about Cole inviting him to the apartment, and the stalker ex is finally backing off.
“He doesn’t allow it to go too far” HE LET YOUR EX IN YOUR HOME, HE’S ALREADY GONE TOO FAR. Thank God OP got rid of him.
Honestly, picturing the boyfriend talking to OP with a mouth full of chocolate saying "babe, I don't know what the big deal is" is such a funny image.
"Want some chocolate?" "Sure. Where did you get it?" "It's from my girlfriend's stalker". Ummmm okay.
Second story: cousins who told OP she deserved her other cousin having a mental breakdown in regard to her husband for not inviting them to the wedding ... can't imagine why OP wouldn't be closer to these obviously high moral individuals.
First story: Cole didn't admit how he's probably been enjoying OPs fear and frustration as well as the ex's. What a psycho...
15:06 Thank you for this statement Dabney. I will never understand what breaks in the brains of adults who went through this, have kids, and then end up hating their partner, and then pull this crap. Like, you grew up with this, you _know_ "staying together for the kids," is b.s. and traumatizing! I have had this rant with people close to me who have said this, and one of the legitimate straight faced arguments I've decided is, "we only argue behind closed doors." Oh, you do? Because that worked so well when _your_ parents did it. Doors are not sound proof, THEY CAN HEAR YOU! Getting divorced was the best thing my parents did. I didn't like it at the time, but I was 4. I got to see, for myself, what a piece of crap my dad is, and am always grateful I don't have the trauma of him beating my mother the way he does his gf (yes, I've tried to help her leave, but she refused).
Second Story: Imagine being so butt-hurt about not being invited to what is basically a big party that u call someone trying to spin a false narrative about being with someone's husband "karma". That is sad. That said, Mira is nuts and OP needs to cut contact with her and clear the narrative before it escalates. Mira is bat shit crazy and I wouldn’t be surprised if she does something even more insane, probably will start stalking OP's husband but at least we know OP won’t help the stalker (call back to the first story)
Story 2: Sounds like the breakup did some bad damage to her mental health. Therapy and other help is needed YESTERDAY
