Hey everyone, I’m the guy from the last story. I decided to go to rehab again, and this time I’ve been clean for 2 weeks. It’s been tough and hard, but I’m really trying. I know this wasn’t anyone’s fault , these were my own choices , but I’m working on making things right. Thanks for reading
Last Story: I'm an EMT, fairly new to the field... the amount of drug related calls we get is heartbreaking. Everyone tells you how it will affect YOU to take drugs, but noone talks about the families. I've watched a parent break down holding her ODing adult child on his side so they don't choke on their own vomit while seizing. I've responded to a call of someone trying to get to the hospital for help but couldn't make it themselves, on the phone with their family. They were calm. The family was sobbing. I've walked by countless hospital rooms filled with tears, and even more filled with silent understanding that the person they knew as a child isn't coming back from this. If you are struggling with addiction, there is help. Listen to the ones who love you when they chew you out, it's out of love. Listen to the hospital staff when they tell you you're slowly killing yourself; you are. And seek out therapy, counselling, rehab, even if you can't afford it, because I'd rather respond to a tearful family of a living relative who is attempting to get clean than the heartwrenching sobs of a parent losing their child before their eyes. If you can't do it for you, do it for those around you. If not for them, do it for the ones that will find you when you're gone, so they don't have to endure that trauma. Find a reason, because there always is one, to get help and get clean. And know there is someone out there who cares without judging and just wants to see you well.
Husband #2 is wanting his wife to get fired so she has to move to Saudi with him. She may have stayed behind for her job or something and he wants her with him.
2nd story - that is actually rather simple - husband wants to have his wife under complete control, and will go to extreme lengths - derailing her career, tanking her reputation - to achieve that.
As someone who was in a controlling relationship, he was trying to get her fired--and it worked. Any way the abuser can cut off outside support, he will. Mine showed up to my workplace and would be rude to my bosses, while telling me it was for my protection
Story two: the husband was saying all that stuff and either fix the video, or for his wife is actually doing it for him on video chat, in order to get the wife fired so he could have more control. That is most likely what happened in OP fell right into it
Two days ago, we buried my cousin. We lost him to a relapse and overdose. And if the amount of heroin itself wasn't enough, it was cut with a lethal amount of fentanyl. If you aren't addicted, don't give them a try. If you are an addict, I wish you the best for recovery and sobriety. I'll miss you always, big cousin.
Story 3: If OP is on the birth certificate and has raised his son his whole life he IS legally that child's father. OP will be able to get a parenting plan so he doesn't lose his son too. He should get a good lawyer. I hope everything works out.
Story 1: I'm probably gonna get shit for this, but this sounds exactly like one of those crazy dares you see in movies. Where the character gets dared to steal something outrageous, but then ends up stuck with it, because they don't know how to put it back without being seen. The friend or friends were likely in on it, because they were also being dared to do similar things. He could also just be a creep.
Disney: "she won't accept a divorce." Well, that's good because they don't have to accept it.
