Just add a few teaspoons of cacao powder into your morning coffe. Very tasty.
What about lead and cadmium levels in chocolate? A lot of chocolates not clean
Well, you don’t have to twist my arm on this one 😋
I make Colombian-style hot chocolate (just unsweetened chocolate stirred/frothed up in hot water) but either with allulose instead of raw sugar or no sweetener and some heavy cream. Great tasting rich drink in the morning.
I found Taza chocolate, it’s stone ground, has no emulsifiers and is organic. The 95% dark with a bit of raw honey with the honey comb is amazing. I found unlike regular chocolate, I can only eat a few bits like this and be satisfied. As where as with regular chocolate, I can’t get enough.
I always wondered if that's why my grandmother lived so long despite being a smoker. She ate dark chocolate pretty much every day.
Dark Chocolate helps me feel satiated faster. I love these lower carb dark chocolates made by Jojo.
Think Thomas was onto something already a good couple years back, with his version of the Keto-Coffee. It's the ideal Pre-Workout for me - 1 Cup of Coffee, 1 Tbsp MCT-Oil, 1/2 Tbsp Ghee, 1 Tbsp of Raw Cacao. I'm adding 3g of Glycine for various benefits, but as a literally sweet side effect - it's making the drink taste like a Hot Chocolate instead of Coffee.
So I‘m guessing you think the benefits of dark chocolate are counterbalancing the high oxalate content?
How about straight up cacao powder?
