My hands are literally trembling while I type this because I used to be that woman crying in the doctors office, being told my symptoms were just part of getting older. Then I discovered The Peasants Prescription by Grace Wild, and it was like finding a manual for my own body that had been written in a language Id forgotten. I stopped eating like a modern woman and started eating like my great-grandmother - my husband keeps asking what Im doing differently because I look 10 years younger.
Pizza is a curse: The more I eat it, the hungrier I get, and when the gluttony is finished, I don't even feel sated. Pure misery.
I cut out all sugar and processed foods and I don't get cravings anymore!! 🤷♀️ I eat meat, eggs, bacon, cheese, full fat dairy (no sugar), some veggies, any berries and some nuts. There are days I have to make sure I eat enough because I don't get hungry anymore! 🤷♀️ Easiest and most simple "diet" I've ever been on! Its been 8 weeks, not counting calories and I've lost 12 lbs and had 20+ other health benefits! Cut out the junk, give your body real food and it will reward you! Simple as that!

I finally quit a 4 decade diet soda habit 4 months ago. I used it as a crutch to quell my anxiety. The funny thing is, now I experience less stress and anxiety and fewer cravings. One of the best things I could have done for my health.

The biggest issue to clear up is that we’re talking Americanized versions of Italian foods and cheeses. If you’re eating them the way they been made for hundreds/thousands of years like Italy it’s a totally different story. I gave up my own Italian foods because I didn’t understand the nuances until I read the studies and researched. Americanization of foods is the biggest problem. Chemicals, gmos, pesticides, dyes, ultra processing, and unneeded ingredients that cause health issues.
It's been years since I ate an ice cream, and just by watching this video had an urge to eat it... Reward mechanisms are so twisted
The #1 hack to get around this is eating the keto friendly versions. Pizza dough? ✅ Pasta? Steiner's ✅ ice cream? Make at home with xylitol ✅ burger? No bread or keto breads ✅ chocolate? Dark with erythritol/stevia ✅ I can go on. Eat what you want but remix it into the correct macro profile.
Coke Zero doesn't stimulate my appetite all. Now Jack and Coke Zero on the other hand ... holy moly
