I’ve been doing pink salt, ginger, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice morning noon and night. I’ve dropped 30lbs but now I’m stalled.
I heard DeLauer is coming out with a new desk calendar; each day has a new recipe for shrinking or eliminating visceral fat.
Watching all these viceral fat reduction videos is stressing me out.

In my quest to lose belly fat at 72, I use the analogy of 'Jack The Ripper' where carbohydrates = making a kill, and belly fat = getting caught. After his first two killings, Jack The Ripper spaced his killings far enough apart due to the increased police surveillance so that he wouldn't get caught; To assuage my cravings for carbohydrates I don't eat them every day but when I do, I only indulge enough to satisfy; The 'police surveillance = my self control; Thus, I have achieved my goal and can tighten my waist belt 3 notches; All this combined with Intermittent Fasting (16/8; 18/6; 20/4) as well as regular workouts at the gym...😇😇😇
Thomas, as a nurse I appreciate your sciencey stuff! Love your little charts and info cartoons. I may not do them all but I appreciate your work!
Might sound crazy....but the human body is an electrochemical, electromagnetic entity. Every cell acts as a tiny battery, maintaining a transmembrane potential to drive biological processes, while water—comprising ~60% of the body—facilitates ion transport and forms a highly conductive "EZ water" structure, allowing the body to function as a "water battery" powered by protons and electron flow. This is one of the reasons why water, salt, and electrolytes are SO important for proper health and function. Once I made this connection, these concepts such as "grounding" and poential negative effects from EMF (wifi/cellphones) started making way more sense.
