These jacked grannies are the bomb and one of the reasons my mum is turning her life around. She thought she was just going to be the way she was until it was time to leave this place but grannies getting strong has sent her off to train with an exercise physiologist. She’s doing great and will be doing her life long dream trip to the US in May to visit Graceland!!! Would love to see more older ladies who have turned their lives around please!
There’s hope for me
Glad to see someone older with such fitness. I’m 64 and am going on my third year of lifting weights. Lost 50 lbs and gained muscle. I don’t have grandkids yet but I want them desperately and I want to be in the best shape to enjoy them when they come 🙏. Older people need to strength train to avoid weakening as they age. I’m in my best shape ever and loving it
I am a 71 year old woman, and I still lift weights three times a week. I have a rebounder and put on some good dance music and bounce my little heart out!! I walk the beach every day with my dog and get 8,000 steps average . I even play racket ball and pickleball……..I say you are never too old, BUT I also say the more active you stay in your mid life, 30’s 40’s 50’s the better you can be in older age. I have lifted weight since my 20’s and I believe that all led to me being able to be this active in my 70’s. I am grateful for this!!! Don’t neglect yourself in your younger years, if you want to stay active in your older years. And it is never too late to start, just start slow and work up to fitness. Walking is a great way to start!!! Thank you Thomas for all your good information, you are a blessing!!! ❤

This active woman should be the "norm" not the exception. That's my goal anyway.
