This guy's got a study to contradict every other study he's told you about before
Magnus Samuelsson, the swedish muscle guy, points out that the best way to stimulate the fast twitch fibers (which gets the most growth) is to do 2-3-4 reps explosive with heavy weight. He incorperate these sets into each training. Doing some sets of 4-7 reps and some sets with 7-20 reps usually around 15 with slow move under tension. Every 10 day switch and start with the 7-20 slow reps, and fast and heavy last.
Here's briefest guide to muscle growth ever: Mechanical Tension (High Weight and time under tension) Muscle Damage (Eccentric loading especially) Metabolic stress (High Reps, Blood flow restriction, and Isometrics) Use all three techniques. Find what works best for you. Mix and Match for optimal gains.
Matt, this is probably why Blood Flow Restriction works. It forces the accumulation of waste metabolites, w/ the consequent results.
BIG DEFINITION MISTAKE TD You used sarcoplasmic hypertrophy and myofibrillar hypertrophy as if they were methods of building muscle(incorrect)… then you put feel the burn as another way to build muscle. You’re confusing how to build muscle vs the types of mechanisms to stimulate muscular hypertrophy. “Feel the burn” (metabolic stress) is a stimulus, not a type of hypertrophy.
So in conclusion, so what I do is, tell me if I got this wrong but, I just keep working out? 😂
After years and years of finding the perfect muscle-building formula, we came back to the good old "No pain, no gain" one
Delauer fatigue..😎
The reason the science keeps changing and most poeple dont see gains is not working hard enough, not eating enough and not working consistently, faith in the process.
Man honestly Thomas you a killing the scene right now
