Order your copy of The Let Them Theory 👉 https://melrob.co/let-them-theory 👈 The #1 Best Selling Book of 2025 🔥 Discover how much power you truly have. It all begins with two simple words. Let Them. — Are nicotine pouches healthier than vaping or smoking? I've seen a lot of people, especially those in their teens or 20s, using pouches, and many of you are asking about it for yourselves and your loved ones. So I asked Doctor Mike Varshavski, board-certified family medicine doctor and the #1 medical doctor online, to share the truth. Doctor Mike says, yes, smoking has more risks than pouches, but smoking has barriers, vaping has even fewer, and pouches have almost none - no smell, no stigma, no friction. The “frictionless” access and convenience of nicotine pouches make them more dangerous - especially for teens because it’s easy to hide from their parents. This conversation on The Mel Robbins Podcast with Doctor Mike was so eye opening to me in so many ways. He will help you understand the truth about vaping, nicotine, and what’s actually putting your teens at risk. these pouches have another issues we aren't discussing and that is the fact that people don't throw them away. I clean at a college and I am haunted by these damn things. I find the absolutely everywhere but in the trash. They are on the floors, stuck to the walls in the halls and in the showers, and today I visited the pond and looked down at my feet and what did I see?? A fucking pouch. These things are the new cig butt but they're worse because they're all over the insides of buildings now too. I'm an ex cig smoker and i find these pouches dusgusting

Discipline isn’t what you do once; you build it by doing the hard thing when it’s inconvenient, not just when you feel ready.

Pouches use nicotine salt which gets in the blood stream way faster and is even more addictive (look that up). I used Zyn for 4 years and loved them. I recently quit because I was having chest tightness regularly, shortness of breath frequently, a lingering cough, stomach issues, and my voice was constantly scratchy almost horse. Say what you want but listen to me when I say this. I loved doing Zyn and did not want to quit but it was evident that I had too. I feel much better now that I'm off of them. Every symptom left almost immediately. Even though I miss the mental stimulation they gave me. My body was obviously struggling. For the record I'm an in shape 31 yr old guy.

The argument is slightly counterintuitive. Yes, it's still the ingestion of nicotine, and there is less condemnation of pouches. But it's significantly safer for your health. I would have liked to hear about WHY it's dangerous and not just social acceptance and accessibility. Habit forming? Yes. Can damage gums, but not very likely. Now the one significant side effect of pouches is that you are getting much more nicotine than a cigarette, and it's very easy to increase intake. However, besides the addiction portion, what is the danger? I used to smoke, quit, then years later vaped. When smoking it ruined my allergies. When I vaped I had chronic respiratory infections, and I have asthma. I use pouches but the addiction side is different. Ask anyone that smoked, you'll always crave a cigarette. Even if I pop a zyn, I WANT a cigarette, and I haven't smoked in a decade.

Valid video, this is why I set my own channel up addressing the quit and what it takes to make that change. Awesome video, thank you 😊
