Let Them. — This is the episode every mom—and anyone who loves a mom—needs to hear. In this raw, honest, and hilarious episode, Mel sits down with her friend Jessie, who is weeks away from giving birth to her first child. What unfolds is the kind of real talk you rarely hear about motherhood. To every mom silently carrying the weight of the world—your love, your strength, and your quiet sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You may not hear it enough, but you are the heartbeat of your home, the hero of your story, and the reason someone believes in love. This world moves fast, but today, I hope you pause and remember—you matter more than you know."

Parent of teenagers at the moment. When they are little, you will wonder when you will sleep again or when you can go to the store in peace. Cherish the time when they are little, it goes so fast. You will have more energy when they are little and less patience. When they get older you will have more patience and less energy. Love them, and APOLOGIZE when you are wrong. They will appreciate it.❤ God bless you, you will be fine!

I love the "do you want my advice or do you just want me to listen"

When she said “How do you even be a mom?” I was instantly back to googling “how long do I feed on each side” while already feeding on one side and crying. The pressure is real but when Mel said she chose you? Instant goosebumps. Every new mom needs this conversation. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms watching. You are doing better than you think.

I wish i would have heard this information 20 years ago. I need to apologize to my kids. I have three children and I did so many of the things you talk about. The guilt is real, now I just need to LET THEM. Thank you for sharing your wisdom

One thing about motherhood is that you learn it while in it. ❤❤

Motherhood is definitely the most difficult job you will ever have and every day has the prospect of teaching you a lesson. Listen to your heart and intuition.

I love the idea that, you’re not raising a child - you’re cultivating a soul.

As a single mom of five, I struggled so much trying to figure things out on my own. There's no real playbook on how to be a "good" parent so you have to learn as you go and look at some great examples while doing it. I've learned a great deal over the years and now coach other single moms on how to eliminate overwhelm and accomplish their goals. Loved this episode.

As a pediatric nurse and sleep consultant, I have developed such a sweet spot in my heart for new moms. Motherhood is such a beautiful journey but also can be exhausting and isolating at times. Thank you for this episode to not only validate this but also give tools and highlight the importance of developing and maintaing these important relationships as our children grow!!
