I never saw this one coming..been in the greg camp for a while now. He's a lot more knowledgeable than people give him credit
Literally shocked. I thought I would NEVER see these 2 on a sit down collab. Big time KinoBody follower. This is content 🔥
I don’t find 16:8 difficult at all everyday for me. The 24 hours fasts are what kill me. Once I get beyond 18:6 it’s a physical challenge. Big lunch at noon and big dinner at 6 pm is easy and doesn’t take much thought.
Best advice on fasting is; The more fat you have to lose, the more benefits you get from a longer fast. As you get leaner you can shorten your fasts.
Greg has the most reasonable approach to fitness. Simple workouts and simple food protocol and that’s why he’s so successful. He simplified a process that 90% of people over complicate
I'm half way through, so far this is a great interview/discussion. I'm 49 and have been lifting since I was 18. I've done IF but haven't in a few years. I wasn't a big fan of Greg for a lot of years. Something about his delivery turned me off a bit, however my opinion towards him has changed over the years. He's a smart guy! Very knowledgeable and dedicated. The fitness industry moves quickly, longevity here is respectable. He also doesn't talk nonsense imo. Both of these guys are positive and helpful in an industry filled with con-men. Respect isn't given, it's earned. I've come to truly respect him!
Greg the type of guy to sit down with Thomas DeLauer for an interview about fasting.
1. Doing fasting about 14 year now and I had the same experiences as these guys : Lot of fasting after a long period times just backfire ! 2. He is literally burned out from fitness like everyone who is doing 10+ years and even more ! Nothing magical, when can not using our body forever on the maximum ! What you can learn from this ? No matter where you are now do everything in moderation, because moderation = doing that thing for longer time. And remember : If you are not professional fitness just ONE part of your life, not your whole life is fitness ! Also very good video and very important topic !
