Roy is the underrated scholar within the Daily Show cohort. He has that John Oliver edge about him. This man seriously needs his own show.
This is the most helpful, gentle, articulate discussion about SCOTUS I have found and I'm a retired federal prosecutor!
they don't care about approval ratings when their power is absolute
Trump spent 4 years undoing everything Obama did, just out of spite. Biden needs to change what Trump did, because it's the right thing to do. Stuff that court!!!!!!!
This made me want to check out what the ACLU is up to, learn law at Georgetown, follow ScotusBlog, and wish The Daily Show was continuing on like this for much longer. Fantastic … and a fantastic ending as well, thanks to David Cole’s truth and the perfectly-timed theme music.

How terrible! I did not know that much about the current Supreme Court. How irresponsible and arrogant they are in these decisions. Thank you and The Daily Show for what you are doing to educate the public.
One must look to the original fundings of the Federalist Society to get the greater picture. They were a political group that was started by those who believe that Authoritarian Wealthy need to rule. The old Soviet Union explained democracy would be killed from within. Now we know Thomas has failed to recuse himself after his wife was a major player in trying to overthrow democracy. Look at the ll/14/22 celebration meeting where the oligarchs of our nation had a party to recognize our newest SCOTUS members. We need to see the court balanced. And BTW, Alito's major citeings were to Sir Matthew Hale who tried people for being witches.
Absolutely, term limits need to be enacted for the Supreme Court. And, those term limits can be a anywhere between 8-16 years. And, we need to extend those term limits to Congress, as well.
Been missing Roy. What an amazing speaker. Funny, educational, wise.
