I LOVE how Dr. Marquez says she wants to have an impact on the world, doesn't see the path to that, while standing on the Mel Robin podcast with a world audience! It's like taking the first step without knowing it! ❤ thank you both for your vulnerability ❤❤
Only 60K away from 2M subscribers on YouTube! Way to go, Mel 🎉 Thanks for all that you do.
You are so awesome Mel! I have been following you since I saw you do your TED TALK years ago. I am presently working and will listen to this podcast at the same time. (And will of course listen to it again....and maybe again!) Thank you for your vulnerability and authenticity. Continued success to you 🙏 Gosh! I am halfway through the podcast. This is such an eye opener...so phenomenal. This is the first time I am hearing Dr. Marques. Your exchange is so amazing. Such great flow. Ok, back to the podcast! OK. I have just finished watching this extraordinary conversation. O.M.G. I am like.....absolutely blown away by the 2 of you and this podcast!!!! There is so much I have got from this video. Thank you. I have just shared it with my best friend. Mel, I love all your videos/podcasts....I learn from so many them, but man oh man!!! THIS ONE KNOCKED IT WAAAAAAYYYY OUT OF THE BALL PARK!!!! I do not have children, however gosh, my emotional reactions and suppression of emotions now have had a light shone on them. I am beyond grateful for this video. Dr. Luana and yourself working together would be an absolute mind blowing game changer for the world!! Your excitement was felt through the screen!!! Thanks to you both. Wow....just...wow!!! 🙏❤🙏
I’m in!! Going through a major transition myself and now realizing I need to embrace it. Leaning into fear. I’ve always had an interest in psychology and why so many people are suffering and not getting the tools to process difficulties. I’m 58 and I have never thoroughly looked at my values in that way. I was surviving not thriving. This is now changing. About to lose my job as a single mom, it’s a wake-up call, an opportunity. Not afraid where this leads me. Something with helping people with difficult transition, in Europe. I’ve been in the US for 23 years, but returning to Europe feels like my next place. Thank you!
Please let me know when you have the class ready. I want to do this! Thank you both ❤
Mel's advice on the importance of self-compassion during these challenging times really struck a chord with me. We often forget to be kind to ourselves, but it's essential in navigating change successfully. I'm grateful for this fantastic podcast episode, and I'm already feeling more equipped to face whatever changes life throws my way. Thank you, Mel Robbins, for sharing such valuable wisdom and empowering us to embrace change with open arms. 💪🌟🙏
Thank you for your vulnerability! The Drs experience with migraines was my exact experience. I’ve been hospitalized 2 times for complicated migraines that mimicked a stroke. I’m also dealing with my daughter graduating and having an empty nest as well as career change. I need this- ALL OF IT!! Thank you so much. I’d love to take your class- keep us posted! Love you too 🥰
Hey Mel! I saw that you mentioned one of the things many people are struggling with is watching their parents get older- this is something that I am struggling with very badly right now in my life. I would love if you could make a video/podcast episode one of these days talking specifically about handling anticipatory grief regarding watching your parents age and worrying about facing their deaths. This is one of my biggest anxiety/worry/overwhelm inducing issues in my life. Ugh it’s awful! I am trying to learn how to cope, but please I would love to hear your insight and advice on this topic! Thank you for everything that you do, you have no idea the impact that you are having on so many lives! ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️
This has really made me think. My dad age 92 is facing a serious operation next week and I'm going to stay at his home while he recovers. My anxiety is through the roof already. It could not be worse if I was having the operation myself. When I was a small child I had operations on my eyes to fix a squint. I have no memories of that time but I think maybe that's where my present feelings are coming from.
I LOVE the simplicity of "Don't run."
