Fast, don't fast, cold plunge, don't cold plunge. They make stuff up, proclaim it as though it's fact, and a few years later, it's a whole new story they're promoting as "fact". So over it all--using moderation, common sense and how my body feels/reacts as a guide.
Sauna helps my arthritis pain during my sleep, definitely sticking with it
“Why torture yourself?” Because doing difficult things builds a strong mental followed by physical foundation.
I prefer a warm shower after lifting weights. Believe it helps with relaxing and the blood to flow to the muscles for recovery.
If you are cold plunging keep doing it. As a former highschool and college football player we did ice baths or ice tubs (all the same thing) 3 time and week and if was phenomenal. It helped with all the pain and recovery. Our bodies never stayed in pain for long and can cld practice another 3 or 4hrs if we had too.
Agreed, basically making things up to have something to talk about, I do cold plunges often and get personal benefits from it, probably not for everyone so just listen to your body.
I do what feels good and sauna and cold plunge work. I think these guys just want to be relavent in today's crowded YouTube space 😊
