“Lack of laughter, play, curiosity…” She gets it. This woman is lovely. Nicely done, Chris. Great guest.
“Masculinity is hard to acquire and easy to lose”. Wow! So true.
In a society that has absolutely insisted that there's no differences between men and women, it's gonna be tough to find back to normal dating. The extremes get highlighted, while everyone in the middle gets ignored.
I love that she is knowledgeable enough and confident enough to acknowledge when something in her profession is a theory, rather than an absolute truth. She's not threatened by acknowledging the paradigms might change. How refreshing to hear such humble exposition from an expert.
I think Orion Taraban had this quote "Female friendships form face to face while male friendships form side by side"
There’s a great article I read online called “everybody is beautiful but no one is horny.” Really fascinating piece about how overly-sexualized our culture is (movies, media, etc), yet we’ve strayed so far from the true intimacy and natural tensions that cause sexual desire. Good read!

It's interesting watching Esther trying to find different ways of saying that "what's driving men and women apart" is the discourse that Chris and similar podcasters are pushing. She puts it graciously and tries to steer the conversation back to finding the common ground between humanity as a whole.
If a couple doesn’t share the same values, dreams and goals, it’s worthless to stay together.
“Deadness” is pretty easy to figure out. Most people don’t eat right, don’t exercise, sleep 4 hours a night, work jobs they hate, and wonder why they can’t feel enthusiastic about their relationship. Self love folks
