Story 3: …ok like i’ll be the one to say it…this woman got Op’s husband ridiculously drunk, took advantage of him to get her pregnant and wants now wants Op’s husband to support her…this woman is NOT the victim here, she’s the villain…
Story 3: Something fishy is going on there. Imagine how this would go if the woman came home drunk as a skunk and could barely move needing to sleep it off on the floor. The next day saying that she had slept with some random guy but barely remembers what happened that night after 2 or 3 beers when they could easily drink 5 before getting drunk but didn't test positive for roofies. Everyone would be hunting that guy to arrest him for SA/Grape. Then suddenly bringing up a baby, this smells fishier than davie jones locker.
3rd story: so hold on, the husband was so drunk he couldn't even stand, doesn't even remember much about the night, I honestly think that the woman took advantage of a drunk man aka SA'ed him and now tries to get the husband to support her. Yeah she's not a victim.
Are we really just gonna gloss over the fact that in story 3 OP's husband is a victim of SA? Really Rslash? This wouldnt survive the gender swap test. Its appalling to me that people dont take SA of men seriously. That woman is vile.
Story 3: I gotta ask: even if OP leaves her husband why does the other woman automatically think he’ll marry her? And what would her plan be if he refused?
If a woman came home drunk and crying after a sexual encounter, we'd all call it what is...assault.
Story 2: I had a gut feeling Mike was just a jealous loser and I feel good that I was right. I think OP found herself a catch in John because dudes willing to learn ASL so he could be kind and a good friend to her brother so OP I suggest keeping him around
I know some rudimentary ASL. For awhile, I owned a coffee shop. One of my regular customers was a man with Cerebral Palsy. For the first few visits, he would send in his aid (he had progressed far enough along that he could no longer ride his adult tricycle or bus around any longer) in to buy him a coffee. His aid was finally able to convince him to come into the shop and have lunch. He couldn’t speak and his arms and legs didn’t function very well, but he did communicate with ASL. Let’s say that he spoke with an accent. :) So I signed back to him. He was thrilled! What I didn’t expect was that unbeknownst to me, my entire staff took it upon themselves to learn basic ASL. So one morning, when I was in the kitchen cooking Matthew and his aid came in. I could see from the kitchen to the front and one of my baristas greeted him at the bar…using sign language! I had a customer for life! Sadly, he passed away. On the day of his funeral, I had my father and mother run the coffee shop while my entire staff attended his funeral. Long story to say that Jon is an amazing person and a great catch!
ASL Story: I was TERRIFIED that such a wholesome story was on r/relationships, and was expecting the worst from Jon... I am SO GLAD he was innocent. I'm glad OP got a happy ending
Pretty sure that "cheating" was SA. He was so drunk he couldn't walk. He can barely remember what happened. Holy crap.
