For a field that requires flawless attention to detail, this is very discouraging. Thanks, Brad. Great information.
David Sinclair sighs in Relief "I'm not the only one to run an incompetent research lab!" π lol
This reminds me of your analysis of the microplastics scare-mongering -- virtually all of it based on contamination from the gloves that researchers were wearing. It also reminds me of the fear-mongering about testosterone decreasing over the years -- all based on changes in the measurement methodology. How could all of these researchers make such ridiculous blunders? I wonder if it has something to do with the pressures of publish or perish.
Fisetin is the supplement being referred
Fisetin deleted from my monthly rotation! Thank you!!
I spent hundreds on anti-aging supplements... looking back, I honestly can't tell if any of them made a difference.
WOW what a gigachad this guy, detail reads paper and makes literally millions
but fisetin did extend lifespan in other studies - this should be understood. Bioavailability is low in flavanoids - this is not addressed here, not in the study. Curcumin is a perfect example - could curcumin be dismissed without considering improved bioavaialbity? Besides which fisetin has an array of benefits and srudies supporting its efficacy - it is no one trick pony.
No real human health benefits or no anti-aging benefits? Those are two different things. Perhaps Fisetin has some benefits without increasing lifespan.
