When I was at police college I had the record for doing pushups in my induction. I'm now 73 and hadn't done any real exercise for about 10 years. I recently started doing push ups again and I'm ashamed to say I could only do 2 to start with. I couldn't believe it myself but I'm now up to 25 twice a day and the difference to my upper body and well being is amazing. Couldn't agree more with what this man says.
Without YouTube I'd be in a hole... and Dr. Berg and Dr. Ekberg advice is the shovel to dig myself out!

I do 100 push-ups a day doing sets of 10 throughout the day. I love it. 💪
4 years ago I decided to get in shape at the young age of 59. My first attempt at pushups was a maximum of 8. Gradually I built up strength and got in very good physical shape and actually started looking forward to putting the headphones on and listening to music while working out. I am now 63 and I do 4 sets of 50 while wearing a 20 pound weighted vest. My max without the vest is 72 now. It's amazing how fast you can still get in shape at my age.
I'm in very poor health, female, 67. I try to walk around my house (using a walker) and 'armchair' exercises. Maybe someday I'll be able to do pushups again. 🙏☮️✝️♥️

Push ups are necessary to keep the ability lift our own body up if we fall or to lift up off the bed as we age., I joined the gym, but, I basically stopped going because I kept hurting my shoulder. Push ups and planking have helped me gain more strength, stability and endurance. Thanks for the video.
