I’m a teen survivor, high school graduate, writer, and college student. Every morning, I wake up at 5 a.m. to focus on what truly matters—exercise, journaling, learning a new language, and mindfulness—as well as listening to this podcast. Going through the toughest fight of my life made me realize how precious every moment is. Every step I take is a chance to create the life I want, and no obstacle is too big. Keep pushing forward, because you’re stronger than you think. 💪You'll never regret living.

I loved this episode just like many others. Today I told my husband, if he doesn’t love Mel, we may have a problem in our marriage 😂 and she’s my best friend and he needs to listen to her too. Thank you @Mel for all that you do and changing my life. ❤️

My therapist suggested I fill up my joy tank first by prioritizing the things that bring me joy, even before taking on the everyday obligations, even if it's just for 10 minutes. Love this doctor and her tips ❤

That’s great! I wish someone would have listened to me when I tried 3 times getting help after my second child and I had no clue why I felt the way I did so I self medicated. I’m thankful I made it out but it did cost me my college education. Postpartum depression is SO dangerous and most don’t understand if they have never experienced it.

Happiness is an inside job. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2023 and me not valuing myself played a major role. I just had to admit to myself that the only person who can beat me is ME. It’s truly YOU verses YOU. That’s the hack.
