Story 2: OP, DO. NOT. HAVE. ANOTHER. CHILD. WITH. THIS WOMAN! Story 3: I disagree with RSlash here. I think it's important to recognize that people can change and grow, and I'm guessing that she's not really racist, considering she's dating outside her race. I would say to look at her actions since they've met to determine what sort of person she is.

Notice how for the fourth post the girlfriend is shifting all the blame onto OP, including blaming the ending of the relationship because he reacted to something awful she did.

Dabney, your advice on relationships "Don't base relationships on the good days because it's easy to be happy when everyone's happy and everything's good. It's when things get rough that your partner's personality really matters the most, because things will get rough eventually. you need to take those hard, tough days into consideration when you decide if you want to be with someone." That is the BEST advice I've ever heard and you absolutely nailed it. Thank you!!

The first time I saw my partner cry was when his grandpa passed. He was called while we were in the car with my mom while I was pregnant with our son. All I could do was put my hand on his shoulder because I was in the back seat and he was in the front passenger seat. I felt like I needed to do more to support him, not shame him.

For the second post the friend is wrong, cheating wasn’t “one off mistake” the wife actively sought out her ex.

Grow up in those types of towns being called slurs and bullied because I am black for mid to high school. There was this one kid who participated but did the bare minimum in the bullying. When return to that town for getting out of the army I ran into him at the store and we talked he was deeply sorry for what he did to me when we're kids. Asked why didn't you stand up for me? He said " because if I didn't I was afraid that they would do way worse to me." Keep in mind that town had group of good ole boys. So I couldn't really blame him for that. Peer pressure can be pain sometimes. Lol
