Europe has real bread. We have cotton candy in USA.
I'm Italian. Here we have a very strict regulation code about food, pesticides, hormones etc.. We also buy a lot of fresh vegetables and meat directly from farmers and local markets, which makes all the difference in the world. The quality of the food is good cause we buy locally. And also yes, we eat a lot of cheese and yogurt, but that's an European thing not only an Italian custom.
I went to Italy last year with my friend and we ate very, very well. No chain restaurant food. The taste and freshness difference was night and day from the US. Italians promote "slow food" instead of "fast food". Nothing bothered my gut. We were amazed at how great we felt. Even the coffee was different. GREAT VIDEO!! Thanks for sharing!
They have outlawed so many thing we still allow in our foods in the US
I’m Irish ☘️. I remember the first time I started hearing Americans talking about how much healthier grass fed meat and dairy is for you but I was so confused because here every animal is grass fed and I didn’t realise that it’s unusual in the rest of the world. 😂
I travel globally and this has always been my finding. Europe has laws that value people’s health. We apparently don’t.
I can't compare the two, but my oldest daughter lives in Oregon and I've experienced the same thing on the several occasions I've visited there. Lots of local organic ingredients makes the difference in food quality very noticeable from where I live in the eastern US.
We eat fresh organic food, this is the Mediterranean way, it's not a coincidence we have one of the longest life expectancy of any country
In Portugal, bread is often labeled by percentage of fermentation.
European Fresh bread easily the best carb (Conveniet, Super Cheap,Tasty)
