I’ve been fasting for the last couple of months (partially thanks to you) and I have been loosing weight (have been overweight/obese for most of my adult life) and have never felt better in myself.
I do 16 and 8 , it has made a massive difference in my health and will never stop.
It worked and still works for me for the last 7 yrs!
I am on a 20 and 4 fasting plan, and I have never regretted it.
I love how I feel when fasting and if anyone asks I’ll happily talk about it, but these takes on fasting resonate with me. It’s a wonderful tool, but I hate when people push it on others as if it’s the one and only miracle solution out there. Thanks for keeping it real!
I did 16/8 and 18/6 for over a year. Then I stopped and feel so much better when I eat breakfast. My energy is higher, I sleep better and my mood is better. What I still do once a month is a 24h fast. What inter. fasting taught me though is that it is OK to skip a meal sometimes if you have eaten too much the day before. I dont have to eat every meal. I listen to what my body is telling me.
My take on fasting has always been that it just helps me avoid the INTENSE snacking that I do compulsively throughout the day and if I can just fill my stomach with low calorie bulky slow digesting foods later in the day, it helps me not over eat.
The key is it’s a combination of intermittent fasting, eating the correct foods, and working out(resistance training). Being healthy is a personal choice and requires personal actions.
Finishing my first 7 day fast today 🙌 feeling really great!
Fasting changed my body and mind sooo much ill never stop doing this, my mind is so clear when fasted and i can learn new things really quickly.
