Improve Vo2 Max = do more Vo2 Max efforts Improve zone 2 = do more volume of zone 2 efforts Sorry for being succinct
I don’t know why folk are confused. This very smart guy has given the best and clearest explanation of a subject that is badly understood by most coaches/trainers. Great job sir 👏
Doing something consistently is more important than getting it perfect. This guys explains perfect. Most important take away is to slow down once your heartrate is too high and speed up once your heartrate is too low. Take it easy ❤
5:11 - This is the first step in implementing the advice in this discussion -- a resting metabolic rate and VO2 Max test.
I dont understand why people think he's rambling. He talks about the following: vo2max in layman's terms, high/low intensity, how to measure them, intent, and so many more detailed insightful stuff. In case people didnt know, Chris Hinshaw is the leading Aerobic Capacity expert in CrossFit and is starting to get recognized other sports.
Best discussion I have heard in a long time. I did not understand many of these ideas before watching this. Thanks!
To speak about vo2max , you should invite Véronique Billat phd , she has been working for 40 years on this topic .She could improve Robert Marchand vo2max at 103 years old , 1 hour cycling record holder ( 28 km at 105 years old )
Mind muscle connection is real!!
2nd time listening to this in a month. Need to digest this slowly, just like the pacing of my runs
this is probably the best enduration exercise theory explaination among all the ones i have seen so far
