I love to watch Chuck Nice being mindblown. Because if he understand it I can understand. Often I get Neil's points and concept only after chuck is mindblown and explains in his words. We love Chuck.
I love Star Talk. I live in the Bible belt and have literally no one around me that is interested in discussing deep scientific topics. StarTalk makes me feel seen and far less alone.
If the laws of physics were a little different somewhere else in the universe, what everyday thing do you think might work totally differently: gravity, time, light, or something else?
I come for the science, but I stay for chuck
Just wanted to say a big 'thank you' I'm 75 and a v 'ordinary' person..came across yr podcasts a while ago and find them fascinating and fun to listen to and have even at my end of life become enthralled with yr topics of discussion and love the fact tĥat you explain complex ideas about science and physics, the universe etc etc in a way that èven my uneducated ordinary and underused brain has begun to want to know more about. Even though i know little of yr terminology or indeed science " language " I shall keep following and hope to enjoy many more..my 6yr old grandson wants to be a scientist, not sure "what sort yet nanny " lol but i shall look forward to engaging in conversation and watching yr podcasts with him..should be fun..thanks again x
Gary's ad reading is like pure ASMR. Them tying directly into the show is cool too. This is how to do ads.
The Bicep 2 story is a great reminder that science is often about embracing mistakes and refining methods. Keating's perspective on cosmic dust truly highlights the importance of skepticism in research.
Neil listening to chuck's accurate interpretation and looks at Brian like a proud father ❤ Love how far lord nice has come to
"Before my own personal Big bang" and Neil glances at his notes, hiding a grin, while Chuck bursts into laughter 😂😂😂 and he continues his speech about the universe.
It always gives me a chuckle watching Chuck get his mind blown and go "aight Imma head out"
