This comment section probably won’t remember me, but maybe someone scrolling needs this. A few months ago I hit a wall. Nothing made sense. I bought Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers after seeing it here on yt. I had no expectations. But chapter by chapter, it broke something open in me. Not motivation — momentum. Wishing that for you too.✨❤
He talks about reward tracking. I started doing that too after reading Procrastination Rewired—it keeps me consistent.
Looking at old photos is not uplifting to me! It's a reminder of past trauma, failed relationships and wasted time. Now that I'm 60 it's makes me sad that my life was filled with more sadness than joy.
To anyone who's suffering depression, anxiety, insomnia and other mental health problems, you are not alone. I feel you. You are so brave. You are doing so well. I'm proud of you. I'm sending you a virtual hug ❤ For me, it wasn’t therapy or meds that helped the most — it was reconnecting with myself. I started using the exercises in Shift Your Mind by Alexander Brooks, and it made me feel human again. The anxiety that used to control my whole day barely shows up now! 🙏❤
I love sitting on my porch every morning and enjoy the nature I get to see across the road from our home. Makes the day alot easier to deal with.
I love music while cleaning the house. I play a set of songs that is an hour long and try to stay focused on cleaning for that whole hour.
Replay the good stuff, scroll through pictures of loved ones. Turn your kitchen into club night. First name basis…learn peoples’ names. Show up, sent the note, text. Cheer loudly and celebrate for the win - good news, for you and others, be loud, proud in sharing their joy. Be an 8 minute friend—don’t wait, make the call. Go outside and be awed by the beauty of nature
The first 3 fixes...I have been doing them...since I overcame a heart stroke and difficult surgery and recovery process...They are very powerful. Thanks Mel
I work in customer service and write down the person's name when they say it. I can't always remember after speaking to dozens of people everyday. It really helps and I find using their name during the conversation can help when they are upset about something.
It's so funny to me that she says to write down their name and something about them in your notes so that you'll remember, but then before you go into a store, you read your notes to "remind" yourself of who they are. You didn't actually remember, you're not really someone who's good with names, but that's a good cheat sheet for someone like me who does not remember names and to make someone feel like you did to make them feel good. 😂 I always want to remember, always have! "I remember your face, but I don't remember your name, I'm so sorry. Please remind me." I usually remember after the 3rd time being around them. My brain then categorize it as a name to keep.
