Thomas, tomorrow marks one year since i started doing Keto. I've lost 200 pounds in this year. My doctor was worried about my heart, she sent me to the heart doc. Heart doctor was happy with the speed as the weight was worse for me than the loss.

Considering one's age, there seems to be a call for a higher protein intake, a sentiment echoed by Layman. It's like a daily fixed requirement where the only 'macro dials' at our disposal to tweak are the levels of fats and carbohydrates. Quite the nutritional puzzle!

Did Keto for ten years (keto snob) then switched to Mediterranean. Keto works but Mediterranean blows it out of the water in terms of effectiveness, sustainability, ease of diet, mood enhancement, ect.
