Thomas, my husband was diagnosed with Diabetes. His hba1c was 10.6%....we went home and threw all sugar, chips, and junk food in the trash. I knew about Mediterranean Keto from watching you. So we put him on <90 carbs daily. No fasting. Taking a 10 min. walk after each meal. 3 months later his hba1c was 5.6%. Now 10 months later hba1c is 5.2%. Doctor was amazed. Took him off all meds and told him Diabetes is gone. We will stay on Mediterranean Keto because we feel so good physically and mentally. Thank you. Low carb saved his life.❤
I am going in for my first skin removal surgery in 7 days. I've lost nearly 270lbs following what you talk about without even watching your channel before but have been a huge fan the past 6 months. I was plant based for nearly 7 years and lost a ton of weight, but also my muscle mass in the process also. I do a mostly high protein Mediterranean diet now and have had tremendous results and my blood work is perfect. I'd love to be able to share my story sometime on your channel. Just an every day guy here that I think a lot of other every day people put there can identify with!
Switched from high carb, high protein diet….to mid-to-low carb, moderate protein, high (healthy) fat diet. Cut out the sugar, processed foods, and added a lot more vegetables and fiber. Feeling great!! I’ll go a few days of low carbs, and then one day of moderate, then back to a few days of low carb.
I LOVE my CGM! Been wearing the Freestyle Libre for 2 years. It really opens your eyes as to what is causing BG to rise. It's not always food. Sleep, exercise, stress all affect cortisol hence BG. It's a game changer for sure! But if you're not officially diagnosed diabetic insurance won't pay for it. My old work PPO insurance paid for it but Medicare does not. Sometimes you can work with your pharmacy to get a discount. What drives me nuts is that even tho it's not a drug, you still need a scrip. You should be able to purchase it OTC without insurance or a Dr. scrip...

Just move to Montana -- where I just got 12 inches of snow dumped on my house and I have to shove the sidewalks before the sun goes down - which starts early here because until mid-February I live in the shadow of a mountain. All I ate for lunch was hamburger and eggs with some brocolli.
This is by far the best video about different diets I have heard anyone say so far.
There's a method: cut down source of blood glucose. Low carbohydrate diet is what it works.
